When my third or forth grade kids started playing ball way back then it was a big thing to finally make a basket in a game.  I think it toke one daughter 3 or 4 games for the team to do that.</p><p>For me way, way back then there was no grade school ball except sandlot.</p><p>Every spring got to play playday with the other schools, like kitten ball, three legged races, throwing the ball, red rover red rove, ect.  Can not remember if I won any on those.  I believe there was no coach to lead me on.  So not sure if it made me better or not as a kid.</p><p>Somehow, something seems to be lost here.  Maybe its a grown up thing. db</p></blockquote><p></p>
