This number indicates an approximate increase of 300,000 breeding ducks from last year and marks a more than 50 percent resurgence in waterfowl since 1955, <a href="http://www.ducks.org/conservation/waterfowl-surveys/2015/duck-numbers?poe=eblast" target="_blank">according to Ducks Unlimited</a>.
