Message: <blockquote data-quote="raider" data-source="post: 300092" data-attributes="member: 353">i'm on year 3 with a zv18 (same length as the new zv 19)... i'll give you my honest thoughts...get 38-40 mph with a heavy load and 3 big guys with a merc 150 4 stroke...rides nice in 1 - 1 1/2' chop - more than that and i'm throttling back to save my back...stays planted in the water pretty well drifting or trolling...terrova 112 60" does well in up to 3 footers - 72 would be better...rod locker is awesome - was cleaning out b4 a canada trip last year and pulled out 18 rod reel combos - had no idea they were all in there...storage is awesome - i have 18 3700's in the back 2 compartments with 2 laying on top on both sides...the fancy z seats in mine suck but i think they've changed them...livewell, baitwell, and cooler are really good - once cooled down, 10# of ice in the cooler makes it all day...layout is awesome for me as i live in the bow and don't pull cranks often...no horse shoe is a big plus for me - the back is very spacious, and the bow is huge...  the trailer is pretty meh, but pulls well and works well...could use more weight up front, but few 19 footers do much better - have limped back to the dock in 6 footers and never speared a wave...when i went shopping 3 years ago, i built and looked at every 19' aluminum, and was shocked how much they had gone up - which led me to the nitro's... i have about 45k into it with mid level trinkets - which was just a hair more than a decent aluminum...  was a no brainer for me...  i'd say i'm very satisfied overall for what i paid...  it's no ranger or yar, but i don't make ranger or yar money... good luck - you will love whatever you end up with...</blockquote>
