Here are a few pics for you guys. Kenai on the left and Super Down on the right. Kenai weight; Super Down weight; The Kenai weight is a little inflated. I used the first small stuff sack I found....you could save a little weight with a lighter sack. Both are nice jackets but when weight is an issue, the super down will be going with. Packs down smaller, don't need a stuff sack (packs into it's own pocket), quite warm for it's size-weight. Not durable material though. I don't any experience with the Kenai out hunting yet and not sure I will use it much for hunting anyways. Does have pit zips, more durable material and quieter, rain/wind resistant. - - - Updated - - - It's all personal preference but when weight is an issue I like either 1 or 2 merino tops for layering, down puffy jacket, and a rain jacket. For bottoms I like a pair of zip-off Kuiu merino bottoms, guide or attack pants, and rain pants. If weights not a issue (truck camping), I end u packing just about everything I own and decide what to wear based on the weather and mood. One new piece I really liked using this spring was the Sitka traverse cold weather hoody.
