Message: <blockquote data-quote="Obi-Wan" data-source="post: 115998" data-attributes="member: 709"><p>Dirty Mike not trying to derail this thread but how many times can a kid (ND Jr High ) put a potentialy dangerous move on the other kid before the ref steps in and gives him a warning?  This year at the Jr high state my sons opponant was on top and my son would stand up and just before he would get away the kid would lift his legs off the ground and create a potentialy dangerous move and the ref would stop the match and put my son back on the bottom.  This kid did this 4 or 5 times in a row and when my son complained about this to the ref the ref told him "your job is to wrestle and mine is to make the calls".  I never wrestled myself so am not familiar with the rules but I would have thought the kid should have gotten a warning for stalling.  This seemed like an intentional way to stall and  prevent giving a point for the escape.</p></blockquote><p></p>
