No comparison, I think the green egg is the only way to go. The heat retention is incredible. On my first cook, I got it dialed into 250 degrees with zero trouble and it held that temp solid. Get an electric coal starter and you’ll have hot coals in about 3 mins. I had the egg up to temp faster than it would have taken my gas Weber. After the 2 hour smoke, it hardly even used any of the coal up. The food was much, much better as well. My mind is blown. IMO, throw the pellet pooper in the garbage, get an egg, never look back. My $.02</p></blockquote><p></p>
