I liked having it open and the wind blowing through but nice to close it when the bugs are bad or its cold. Now have the newer Northstars, Dads rattles a bit when open but there is an adjustment the dealer told him about but he hasn't done it. When I bought mine I checked to make sure it didn't rattle like Dads and mine is still tight. I wouldn't have anything but the flip up windshield, Nice for shooting gophers.</p></blockquote><p></p>
