My boss had been fielding a fair amount of complaints from my counterparts. In a private meeting, she asked, "is there anything you need, Slim?" I thought about it and told her "paper clips. Otherwise, you just keep giving me money and I'll keep coming to work." What a concept: I just show up and they give me money!!! And all these fools throw away what little money they have on 1 in 292,000,000 chances.
