So if you rent out your basement, or own an apartment building, you would have to still pay tax, farmland, pastures, shops, businesses run out of homes, strip malls, etc. would all still pay property tax. Only primary residence not used for income would be abolished. Hopefully that would set some of the elderly or people on fixed income up with a better retirement, maybe even a term of property tax payment after 10 -15 years of living in a primary residence you would be done paying property tax.</p></blockquote><p></p>
