I believe that the two most regressive taxes that are levied are sales tax and property tax in that order. So what the hell did our legislatures do this last season but pass state income tax reduction that primarily benefits the wealthy. I have signed the property tax petition and will be voting in favor this fall. Only regret is that I wish it were to abolish sales tax which by far is the most regressive tax. Currently running about 8% (state,county, city, etc) in Bismarck and <strong>both</strong> Burleigh County and Bismarck are in the process of proposing increases. I believe that if the voters take action it will result in better decisions being made both at state and local levels. Just my $0.02.</p></blockquote><p></p>
