You would have to be firing a firearm that is not proper for you. i.e. right handed gun shooting from the left side. You should not be having brass cross your line of vision. You never mentioned eye protection, I would assume you had a debrief from the "expert". Continuing with this, you have bruising to your shoulder. I again think you are lying or improperly shown. The recoil of an ar 15 (223/5.56) is barely enough to be felt let alone cause bruising. Regardless of the amount of recoil, a demonstration of properly mounting a firearm should have been given.  You indicate shooting pistols, but nothing regarding a long rifle (an AR15 is nothing more than a semi auto long rifle).  You should have been properly prepared by your"expert". So you have never shot an AR15, but are an expert suddenly on the recoil and operation of a "bazooka"? Were you firing this gun in a metal tube to make it sound like a cannon? The only thing I have heard is a metal tune of the recoil spring. Again, your "expert" should have provided you proper ear protection. Winter ear muffs do not count. I challenge you to shoot a 20 or 12 gauge shot gun. These are also known as scatter guns commonly used for fowl hunting. Last but not least, there is a reason other gun shops turned you down. You were provided access to a shop by a foreigner pushing his personal beliefs. As yourself how many times Europe has had to have their asses saved from the US and then ask if we want the same rules as them.The summation of your article has me believing you fabricated the entire thing to push your anti-gun agenda.
