Message: <blockquote data-quote="Tymurrey" data-source="post: 159225" data-attributes="member: 859"><p>I played the same game you are 6 years ago.  I finally said screw buying used and picked up a holdover lund Alaskan 1600 for I think $14,000.  Never had any trouble with the boat, no worries about getting something someone beat the crap out of.  There are some good deals to be found on used boats but the market here is crazy.  I picked up a used boat for bowfishing this last year and all we've done is stick time and money into making it work, replacing small parts and getting things to run just right.  Atleast when you buy new you know what you are getting.  Just my two cents, never looked back or been disappointed that I bought a "cheaper" new boat and the 60hp tiller gets me around on the river just fine.</p></blockquote><p></p>
