I would still had a jackplate if I were you and there are a couple reasons for that. The trim tabs are going to lose you about 2 mph. I prefished for this event with Brett King, Joe Okada and Robert Blosser all who are running trim tabs and all said the same thing about the speed loss. By running a jack plate it will help you to gain a little of that speed back and at the same time will help improve your fuel mileage. Then there is the shallow water improvements if you are ever fishing the river. Like I said they are phenomenal boats and on Monday we were in 6-8 ft waves in Brett's boat and I was truly impressed in the ride.</p></blockquote><p></p>
