I presented testimony in support; Kim Kary from NDGFD (Administrative Division Chief) provided testimony in support; and additional support was provided by Mr. Egger's from the Cass County Wildlife Club. There was no testimony opposing this legislation. The committee will meet at a later time and date to vote on a recommendation, and then proceed with that recommendation to the House floor. I do not know when the House will vote on it, but it could be as early as tomorrow.Please continue to let folks know about this legislation – friends; relatives; co-workers; fish and wildlife clubs; businesses that have anything to do with fishing (sell bait, fishhouses; and fishing equipment); guides and lodges; fellow trappers; or any other person or entity that may benefit by this legislation. It is important that the Representatives hear from you now.You can identify your respective legislator at this link "www.legis.nd/gov/assembly/65-2017".
