My daughter started with a miss last fall too, and to be honest, I wouldn't change it at all. A couple weeks later when she got the chance to redeem herself, she did and her excitement level was that much higher for it while her first turkey was flopping around on the ground. I get some of those “you’re a good dad” comments from people who witness my kids and I interacting and there isn’t a better compliment a guy can receive. You deserve one of those compliments as it’s obvious to see you are doing a damn good job with your kids. You should be proud.
