Message: <blockquote data-quote="AaronJ" data-source="post: 211934" data-attributes="member: 1109"><p>On cold days/nights when I get home from the ramp I put muffs on my motor (the water muffs) and let the motor run all night.  That way the water never freezes in the lower unit.  I also dump a large tin of coffee in the livewell and run the recirc pump.  The coffee is hydrophillic and pulls the moisture from the pump to decrease the chance of a hard freeze.</p></blockquote><p></p>
