Tournament most weekends but rarely did we do to a 2-3 day tournament. A Sunday tournament in towns less than an hour drive away provided lots of entertainment without costing much and taking the whole weekend. Quit when I realized I could no longer go from 1st to 2nd on a hit that used to be a for-sure double. Play golf now and you don't have to run between shots. That and you can have a beer between shots and the cart has a beer holder and room for a cooler. Practice? We always thought we were good enough without it. Before the first game of the season we might get together some evening to do a little hitting and enough throwing to make sure we didn't have a sore arm the next day for the game. We played to win but it certainly wasn't life and death.</p></blockquote><p></p>
