Ended up punching holes straight East of El Zagel, found 4 inches max, most were around 2.  Not knowing any better we sat there for a few mins before deciding it was not safe.  Should have probably broken through and pulled under the ice. Still get goosebumps thinking how dumb that was.</p></blockquote><p></p>
