Tribe shuts down access Mobridge

With the low water it could make it easier for them to get to the ice”</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Georgia'">Jerome there are other access points, including just west of the U.S. Highway 12 Bridge and the water plant access. He said the committee will discourage any anglers to use a route that takes them across the channel or under the U.S. Highway 12 Bridge, where the current makes the ice conditions less stable. The constant movement of the water through the channel and around the pylons of the bridges on the Missouri River channel, causes constant changes in ice conditions in those areas.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Georgia'">An official with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said the Corps is aware of the situation and is working internally on it.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Georgia'">Attempts to contact officials with the Standing Rock Tribe to find out the reason for the blocked access were not successful.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Georgia'">Further information on this issue will be will be published in upcoming issues.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: silver"><span style="font-size: 9px">- - - Updated - - -</span></span></p><p></p><p>I find it funny how they say they tried contacting the Tribe, but were not successful.
