Message: <blockquote data-quote="fly2cast" data-source="post: 321214" data-attributes="member: 656"><p>I believe some of you might have the impression that you are being criticized for wanting a newer boat.  I think what the criticism is (criticism isn't a good word, more like disbelief) is that the new boats people are buying are massively big with massive payments.  Whatever happened to being satisfied with the 16, 17 foot aluminum boat in the 20 to 30 k range?  I know they exist because they have them at the dealerships.  It seems like now the norm is that 20+ foot boat with a 250 or 300 horse on it.  I understand not wanting an older, junky boat but there are plenty of boats that are not junk but also not crazy price.  However, I understand this thread is about the cost of boats and that boats in this range are commanding a higher price.</p></blockquote><p></p>
