I've had mixed results on calls, rattling, grunting and doe bleats. Scent has seemed to help and I try to do a mix of doe estrus and buck urine in hunting areas along with scratching up some mock scrapes in the dirt and adding sent to ground and a overhanging branch or taking my saw and making a rub line on trees then a little buck sent on those. Most of what I try is subtle and finer details, moderation is king in my experience. Over kill on scents seems to hurt and too much sound might make them investigate but hard to get close enough for a shot. I want them to have to work a little and try to use sound and scent as more of a misdirection.</p></blockquote><p></p>
