Talk to his parents? Talk to the school? I'm sorry, but chances are those would have only made the situation worse. It was a bad situation, plain and simple. This kid needs to be taken behind the woodshed and beaten on the butt till he can't sit no more. Oh I know, some of you are sitting her thinking he should have just sued his parents. Apparently you have never been in a situation where you had to sue anyone. It's expensive, time consuming, stressful, and exposes your life and brings up your life for criticism. you now get to feel victimized twice. And remember now your life is available for public scrutiny. It don't matter if you have anything to hide or not. I'm glad this dad did what he did. I feel sorry that in today's society he maybe the one paying for it.I think 20 years ago the police officer probably would have told him that you were probably little to aggressive and made the father apologize.</blockquote>
