It's as if no one can voice up and say "hey, you're freaking weird", or "what the hell is wrong with you, that isn't normal". Society as a whole has a problem with calling anyone out, unless it is politically driven. </p><p></p><p>Perfect example, back when I was in high-school we had one kid in our class who never could act "normal". His parents would always be calling into school and complaining that all the other kids were picking on him and being mean to him. Their child was being bullied and that everyone else should keep their kids in check because little Jimmy wasn't causing any problems. The fact is the parents were unaware that the kid was talking about how he loved using 3 condoms at the same time with his prom date because he loved the friction, and that he would use the same ones for different "love making" sessions. Or the fact that he swore to everyone that he chugged 2-750ml bottles of whiskey as he was driving around with his date before prom. When we were in 10th grade, little Jimmy packed up all his book/belongings from his lockers and drove 150 miles, across the river, and just walked into a different school and sat down in math class like no one was going to notice he was there (Little Jimmy was apparently chasing one of those women he liked that attended this school). The superintendent from the other school called our schools principal and asked "Yeah, are you guys missing a student, for some reason he's here? It was at this point that the light started to come on for Little Jimmy's parents that said "Maybe our child IS a little off and it's not ALL of the other kids who are". The entire thing comes to a perfect head when Little Jimmy wrote a "Hit List" note and I was on it. That was the straw that broke the camels back. He was pulled into the principals office and that was it. They pulled all of us who were on the list into the principals office and asked us if we felt threatened. Have any of you ever asked a 16year old male, in the company of their friends, if they've felt threatened? We all answered no, its just "little Jimmy". So they did all of their evaluation, which took an afternoon, and Jimmy was allowed to stay in school!! </p><p></p><p>If you think it ends there, it just gets better. So the next year is Junior year and that's when you start getting all of the presentations from the college's and the Army,etc. Little Jimmy is going to be a badass and join the Army and get all the sign up money and have more money than the rest of us. Well after little Jimmy signed on with the Army National Guard he received his sign-up money. Well then they were starting to ramp up the troops overseas and it was looking like Jimmy might get deployed at some point in time. So guess what little Jimmy does!? In shop class he welds without his helmet on and deliberately tries to give himself flash burn to the point of blindness to get excused for a medical reason. </p><p></p><p>Fast forward over a decade and Little Jimmy has to register as a "sex offender", went AWOL from the Army, fathered 2 children, and has been married and divorced 3 times..</p><p></p><p>Yeah, everybody else's kids were the problem. FYI, it was my father who found the "Hit-List" note on my dresser. My wonderful mother washed a load of my clothes and would put the contents from the pockets of the jeans on my dresser. </p><p></p><p></p><p>There's my short biography for the month.....</p></blockquote><p></p>
