So the NDGF doesn't have a bargaining chip to get the gates open.I completely disagree, the pontoon uses the ramp and dock at Beaver bay 1/2 of the time its ferrying people across to do business at the casino. They park at the Beaver bay parking lot and use the paid for by NDGF facility's to get on the pontoon.The casino fishing tourney applies for and gets a permit through the NDGF.[h=1]Permitted Fishing Tournaments[/h]A fishing contest in which prizes or cash are given for catching fish from waters open to the public must receive a permit from the Game and Fish Department. There are two exceptions to this requirement: <ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Individual big fish promotions sponsored by resident, local businesses not charging any entry or participation fee and</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Any local fishing tournament charging an entry or participation fee of less than five dollars per angler unless there are more than 49 participating individuals or 14 participating boats.</li> </ul>A completed application, along with the tournament sponsor rules and regulations, must be submitted to the Department within 30 days of the pending contest.Open to the public would be all the time wouldn't it ? I just called the Spirit lake casino at Devils lake and they keep the ramp open all year.I think its complete crap the casino thinks it has the right to block access to the river.Lets hear it, what do you guys think ?</blockquote>
