Have a post-64 Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter in .25-06. Through an absolutely moronic move, I broke the stock. I’m now in the market to replace. </p><p></p><p>A couple of friends have pointed me to Boyd’s. I’ve perused the website and more than a few stock options exist for the particular rifle.  Im pondering a thumb hole stock, but one friend questioned if the barrel would remain “free floating”.
