My buddy quadded in and picked me up.On the way out a big ass male ran across the trail in front of us! Up there you have to have your ammo out of your rifle. By the time I got my rifle out of the scabbard and clip out of my pocket he disappeared into the bush. Ughh again!Ha haWent up to slave lake 3 winters ago. Sat in crazy cold temps dark till dark on the edge of a lake all week hunting them, never did one come to the bait.  It had snowed 2 ft day before we got there,  they decided to eat fresh venison and not frozen meat scraps. Before that wolves were on camera daily..ugh again!  Ha ha it reached lows of -40- -50F each night, sleeping in an enclosed snowmobile trailer was interesting to say the least!
