Message: <blockquote data-quote="db-2" data-source="post: 314713" data-attributes="member: 4743"><p>My dad was born in 1911 and many years ago had told me these stories about wolves and growing up in north central ND.</p><p></p><p>At a young age, had one come up to the old horse barn as he hid inside.  Stated he was scare and kept that memory.</p><p>One time he was working the field with horses when he saw two wolf stalking another animal.  Can not remember what animal was being stall but they were unable to catch.</p><p>Neighbor has a pack of wolf hounds that he hunted with.  They came up on some wolves one day while hunting and hounds took off after them.  Ended up with only a couple of wolf hounds after that and he had to destroy those as they were hurt bad.</p><p></p><p>But for me who has never seen a wolf in ND, only heard of them, it is interesting to know the stories and that they were around back then.  db</p></blockquote><p></p>
