This is so they can take advantage of new subsidies. If they upgrade them the subsidies that are almost gone don't matter and they qualify for the new program. That way us tax payers get to pay for the power twice and wind still looks cheap on the books

That farm was built about 12 years ago and since then the technology has advanced. They replaced the generators and blades with bigger ones to increase the capacity.
sounds cost effective eh? It actually because if they do the upgrades they get the new subsidy program, that way they can make it look cheap although most don't realize you pay for wind twice. where do people think the money comes from to subsidize these worthless pieces of crap?
