    Is the .243 to small for deer?

    I have shot a .243 for 30+ years and my dad has for 50+ without ever having issues with dropping deer. As it was said already, shot placement is the key.

    How fast is your boat?

    2006 Lund Tyee 1850 with a 150 Optimax and 9.9 Merc Kicker 48.5 MPH on GPS. 2004 Smokercraft 161 Millentia with 60 HP Mercu 4 stroke 32 mph.
