    Lake Winnipeg Fishing gear

There are different access points on both east and west sides. Generally speaking most people will start towards the mouth and work out from there. I think east side had bigger fish and the west has more numbers. 7-10 feet is a general depth to start but early mornings in 3 feet can produce...

    Dewalt cordless lawn tools.

Different brand but have the makita trimmer and chainsaw, both work well for me. Keep the chain sharp and it works well for logs up to 8-9 inches. Easy on the ears. Mine is a 36 volt saw

I have a 20 degree slick bag. Extra wide and tall. I wouldnt do the wide again. If doing again I would go 0 degree. Its a warm bag but would get cold without my stove when below 20. I heat a water bottle and through in the bottom if need be. I am in the bismarck area if you want to look at...

So I went and did it

I know what you are saying, we bought 2 a few years ago for the kids, as I am of the same opinion as you. But they are fun and the kids and their friends do have a good time. I just gently or not gently remind them to stay away from anyone fishing. I am sure we get cussed at times but they...

    Ndtrax

Worth the money, can't speak for the lake contours. But the topo maps, surface ownership and tools in the app all on a phone is really handy.

    Handheld GPS

Just get the onx app for your phone. It will still work if don't have service and you can put your phone on airplane mode to save battery. They have surface ownership when you buy the service. They may still have a free trial for new subscriptions.

    2006 DF140 Suzuki 4 Stroke

I have one on my boat. Been a great motor, quiet, smooth. Had some general maintenance done last year, first real work in 10 years beside yearly fluid changes. They have a strong lower unit, don't ask how I know.
