Purchased a Sea-Doo jetski for the kiddo's. I have spent a majority of my life preaching against these damn noisy, gas wasting, sonsabitches.

Just thought i would share, and I also plan on circling around all sparkly boats jumping their wakes, and maybe even getting as close as I can while you are all trolling that hot shore line. haha..

In all seriousness, I will hang my head in shame while I back it into the lake along side my Lund, but at least my older daughter might come camping with us this season, not many chances left.

I wonder if Runnings carries tar and feathers? If not, perhaps Grainger would deliver it?

never did like them until fishing here in Nebraska , seems like when buzzing shore lines fishing will pick-up for shore fisherman

I tried fishing off one once. Got a bite and got too excited. Set the hook and hit the throttle at the same time, pulling my favorite rod right out of my hands. Please don't try it.

I know what you are saying, we bought 2 a few years ago for the kids, as I am of the same opinion as you. But they are fun and the kids and their friends do have a good time. I just gently or not gently remind them to stay away from anyone fishing. I am sure we get cussed at times but they try to be respectful. Make sure they kids get the water safety if they are underage.

I'm sure you already have the mandatory jet ski gear: mullet, Bud Light Lime, and Oakley Blades

Nah, I used to have one, and they're fun. I never fished off of it, but spent a lot of time ripping around on the river with it. At WOT, a tank doesn't last long, but how many lives are ya gonna live?

I totally understand buying one, so the teenage daughter would come with. That's a sound decision. I doubt you'll regret it.

This is the same type of logic minivan guys use. "You know, I never wanted a minivan, but once I did, I was really surprised at how nice they are! I can fit a full sheet of plywood in the back for when I finally build that She-Shed"

I only kid because I know you can take it. And I'm almost a 1000 miles away from your bar room brawl-hardened fists.

The next thing you know money’s missing off the dresser and your daughter’s knocked up. I’ve seen it a hundred times...

Lincoln, kinda...
I wish we could nominate one NDA member a day for a sack tap.

Juan would be a shoe-in for winning today.

Gotta be Larry Enticer's cousin or brother LOL!

The old saying is right though, have you ever seen anyone not having fun on a jet ski? Except Jay-Z LOL!

I think one of these would be a hoot also. I know if i would of had one as a young lad i don't think my guardian Angels could have saved me. Between riding steers & bulls & horses, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and vehicles my poor Angels were kept busy enough. Add in the Jet Ski and i think that would have been my demise!
As Dirty Harry used to say " one has to know their limitations " back then i didn't know my limitations and how i survived to grow this old is quite puzzling when i think back.

I had either 4 or 5 mini-vans provided by employers for me to drive and my dad had 8-9 for the same reason. While they're certainly not "cool", however, their handiness is impossible to overstate. Additionally, the AWD versions are road-holding sonsabitches and will go places you'd not think they could, or should. Their lack of ground clearance can be mitigated somewhat by significantly increased speeds for short distances, this is especially true if maint/repairs are on some manner of corporate dime.

It's no trouble at all to easily hunt 4 adults and 3-4 dogs outta a mini-van.
