    Property Tax Petition

Removing property tax does nothing to reduce the spend either. It takes people getting on local boards and making local decisions to reduce spending.

    Property Tax Petition

If property tax was moved to sales tax, the sales tax rate would need to go up about 6%.

    Property Tax Credit

If property tax goes away, Where do the funds come from to pay the people moving snow or picking up the garbage?

I would happily figure out how to set up venmo if anyone wants to send me their crumbs.

    Property Tax Credit

The State legislature isn't the problem. The state has continued to try to give property tax relief but the political subs just keep spending the money. This year the state cut income tax and came up with the credit to put the money directly back in our hands. It will be interesting to see how...

One tag vs multi tag poll

This year I had my first rifle tag in 8 years. I buy a bow tag every year but have only shot 1 with a bow in my lifetime because I don't care if I shoot one, I just like to go. I think Game and Fish is doing a pretty good job of managing deer with what they have to work with. Deer numbers are...

NDA Ammo and Reloading Component TRADE thread

There have been a lot more primers available in the last few weeks. I've seen/heard about large magnums 4 times in the last month or so at Scheels (One batch of each brand). Large rifle have been fairly common in the last month. I wonder if they aren't trying to push more out for hunting season.

    Property Tax Petition

According to this, in 2020 ND has ranked 13th for % of income paid to state taxes. We also have lower % property taxes than all our neighbors, MT, SD and MN. With just a quick glance, ND is on the higher end of sales tax. Since it is from 2020 it doesn't take into account the new income tax...

    Megakota??

This is the perfect item for an initiated measure.

    M1, yea or nay?

I don't listen to the radio much but this afternoon I heard a couple of old grandma's from either side of the aisle touting how we need to stop out of state special interest groups from taking over North Dakota politics. I listened closely at the end for who was paying for the ad, it was North...

    M3, yea or nay?

This is a little off topic but I feel this is one of the problems with the initiated measure process. The measures need to be well written (not like measure 3), thought out (not like measure 1), have thorough understanding of current laws (not like measure 2) and have clear intent and impact...

    M3, yea or nay?

Can someone explain this to me? I've been told a number of times by legislators that the medical marijuana measure, as passed, would have been impossible to put into law because it was so poorly written and contradicted itself in a number of places. While I don't always agree with these...

    M2, yea or nay?

This is another poorly thought out/researched initiated measure. The ND constitution already has this protection in it. I'm voting no on all 4 measures.

    M3, yea or nay?

Anyone see the opinion piece from the Colorado AG opposing measure 3 in the Fargo Forum? I was told anit it but can't find it. I was also told the governor of Colorado was willing to do a commercial opposing measure 3. Would be interesting perspectives to hear.

    M3, yea or nay?

After reading through the thread I have a couple comments 1. I'm confused by how the legislature apparently screwed up medical marijuana but now those in favor of M3 are admitting there are problems with it but say the legislature can fix it. However it goes into effect in 30 days so the...
