Recently there was an article in the Inforum discussing the city of Fargo closing 19th Ave North during poor winter weather conditions. The article referred to a blizzard that hit the area in Feb 1984 which caused zero visibility and stranded some motorists on this stretch of road. 4 people died due to carbon monoxide poisoning after their car got stuck and blocked exhaust while they waited. While reading more about this blizzard I found this documentary on YouTube. I though it pretty interesting and definitely a good reminder to take winter weather very seriously.
