Manatees frequently get nailed by boats in inland waters in Florida and so there are speed restrictions here and there as a result. But manatees on or just under the surface in shallow narrow inland rivers and streams areas are a totally different thing than right whales in the ocean for goodness sakes!!! With only 5 whales hit in 15 years, this proposal is not only terrible overkill (pun intended) but unnecessary and stupid!!!!!
