I bought new in October of 2015 so this is only the second season of use and only 20-25 times out. As impressed as I am that they are sending me a new shell, the route that Clam is taking as a business makes me want to spend my money elsewhere . I am surprised that they get away with producing some of their copycat lures.

I really suprised that I have not heard anyone here talking about their gear reduction box recall, I guess they didn't do a product test, guys were blowing out the guts after the first couple holes drilled.

I think most guys on here are running a kdrill with the clam plate so no gear box is needed.
