I'm not a pepper expert. Isn't that home made cayenne?

Almost kinda! Cayenne is a type of chili, allowed to ripen to red and then dried and ground into cayenne powder. The jalapenos we used were still green when we dried and then turned 'em to powder.

I see. For some reason I can't do the green stuff, gut can't handle it. I thought jalapenos eventually ripened to red. Cayenne, for those who GAF; is my limit for "heat". I DO believe this is a fine idea and would attempt with CP; to balance between good heat and scorched rectum. Don't want to die like Elvis.

Cayenne is pretty hot, way more than a jalapeno. Jalapenos do turn red when ripe. Jalaproctitis.... A real butt burner
