FYI. Was at Scheels kicking tires on a kayak and other stuff when I saw they had an endcap loaded with Irish Setter 800g hunting boots, originally $200+ now $99. Not sure about the stated O price, but for $100 I had to check em out even though I don't really need a pair this year.
I've worn IS boot before and found the, to be very comfortable and of good quality.

ND's Flatter Half
800G Thinsulate is a recipe for swamp foot. Unless it's December.

If they get something under 200G or, preferably, uninsulated, I'd be on that like cow shit on a boot sole.

Agreed - not an early season boot, but I walk many miles every December and these seem like a good late-season boot. When ice fishing or sledding, I often wear my hunting boots as well, instead of bulkier snowboots.
