SenateBill 2344
provides protections for gun stores, ranges, or anyother entity that engages in the lawful selling or servicing offirearms, components, or accessories. SB 2344 also prevents theprohibition, regulation, or seizure of citizens’ Second Amendmentrights during a declared State of Emergency.
HouseBill 1498
would strengthen North Dakotans’ fundamental right toself-defense anywhere they are legally allowed to be. Victims ofviolent crime who respond with defensive force while protectingthemselves or their loved ones should not have to face the additionalthreat of criminal or civil prosecution. If enacted, law-abidingcitizens would no longer be required to retreat before defendingthemselves.
