Hunter safety in Minnesota schools

I don't know if it will take place but it sure would be a good idea if all states made gun safety education a priority public schools. I wonder does north Dakota have a hunter safety class that is supported by the school system?

I took a hunter safety class at central campus in Minot back in the day. It was nice to take it during school and get credit for an elective. I think every school should offer it as some may never get another easy opportunity.

The classes I teach are supported by the local school. Not by offering credit but we are allowed sue of a classroom as well as given permission to bring in guns. Never been a problem.

We had Hunter safety in 8th grade in ag class but that was 20 yrs ago lol now I don't think so

My buddies daughter was taking hunters ed in Minnesota. My buddy sent her book with her to school to study during study hall. He was call to come pick up the book from school cause it was not allowed reading material.

Supported during school hours is unsure. But i was an instructor and we did it in the school with school board permission.

WTH, are you kidding me. What could they possibly find offensive in the Hunter Ed. Book? What's even sadder is that the ACLU would take someone to court over the color of a student's hair but would not find anything wrong with this situation. Hunter Ed books are not porn.

Could never figure out when I was a principal that our library had a subscription to a woman's magazine (forget the name, very popular) and every month wold have at least one headline on the cover related to "Guide to Better Sex" or something similar, yet refuse to display the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
