Anyone know of any good places to camp between Dickinson and Medora. Taking wife to musical and pitchfork fondue .

If like myself your sick of camping in the crowds at Medora try going about three miles or something like that to the south at Sully Creek campground. It's right on the Madahey tail. It has water, but no electricity or sewer. They are set up for horses. When things are slow they let you camp in the horse area, but otherwise your stuck in the tent camping area with no water except at a community faucet. Those camp sites are small, but the horse campsites are huge. You can have a 40 foot camper and a dozen tents.

We are from Mandan and like out of the way places. We were looking at maybe Patterson but it sounds like lot of train traffic at night. Either side of Dickinson small lake area or small town campground would be great

We have a fifth wheel and we're just looking for a place somewhat close to Dickinson. Like camping by small lakes or sometimes in small towns. Camped at Drake ND a few years back and really enjoyed it.
