After 47 years my finger is deformed. My finger would have to be cut off to get my ring off. I have a very good metal detector, and visit Bismarck often. If you don't find it in the next few days PM me. I should be over before the big freeze.

Mine is on my key chain. With my job I like my fingers ever see what happens when a ring gets caught on a piece of equipment. Strips the flesh clean off showed my wife a few of those pics and she was good with it being wherw it is.

That sucks. Don't give up hope, you never know when, and where it will show up. My father gave me his wedding band before I got married (been married for 32 years) said he never wore it, so I might as well have it to wear. The only time I take it off, is when I wash my hands after changing oil in the cars. Have a really good grove in my finger from it. He died 27 years ago, so I wear it in his honor, and as a reminder of what a great dad he was.
