Mounting down riggers!!

Hey guys I've got a ranger 620 and am going to be mounting some down riggers! Just wondering if you guys had some advice on where to mount them!! I've seen people mount them on the back deck and also the gunnels. Anybody has some experience with this?

A friend of mine has downriggers on his 621 and they are both mounted on the back. Another option is to mount them on a track system.
