Bought a new truck last winter, and quickly approaching my first hunting season ever without a topper. I'm scared boys. I could fit almost 4 doz full bodies and 2 Finisher blinds in the Power Ranger with a a topper. Not looking good for getting a new topper or enclosed trailer before this waterfowl season, so I'm wondering what all you open truck bed folk do to secure a mountain of decoys? Cargo net? Bungee cords? Help me out fellas

I'd be lost without my topper. It's the only way to make one of those puny F150 5.5-foot beds useful!
I went for the 6.5 foot bed, but without a topper I am truly lost. Saving up for a new one, so the used idea is out. Talk about sticker shock when I went to the truck store and saw what they want for the options I think I need!

Mostly I'm just bitching about not having a topper. Guess I'll cargo net it this year. Thanks buds

I'll wait for our resident bungee cord/topper expert to chime in. calling Guy, guywithbungeecords.

I recommend you shave your beard and weave it into some sort of tie down.

Windoors mandatory. Over.
Full agreement. Over. Can't afford the options I want just now. Over. Was looking for advice for limping through this waterfowl season without buying a topper or trailer

Breaker, breaker, 1-9. You need a buddy with a trailer from which to borrow. Over and out...(static)

I'm not telling you anything.
Well that's just downright un-neighborly.

Shave my beard!? But we're just about to enter the 7 month stretch that I actually need this thing!

You know I'm kidding. I spoke out of jealousy. I'm one good wind gust away from being clean shaven most days. I suppose it worked out for me in boot camp as I didn't have to shave one time.

OK, I'll let it go. I'm mocking the thread title.
