[Bows 'n poles]

Anyone been down to Beaver or Cattail bay recently? I'd think by now they should be accessible, but it'd be nice to know before driving all the way down there. Any input is appreciated.

Drove on at beaver bay yesterday. Some smaller pickups and cars had been stuck, but there are plowed roads to get you around to the channel. No problem driving through snow off the trails with full size 4X4 pickup if you avoid the drifts. Lots of ice (20+ inches). About 6 other groups fishing, but it was slow. Fished in 20 feet, only caught 3 perch 8 to 10 inch range. Group next to us only caught 2 similar perch, and one small northern, but at least its nice to be able to drive out on lake with your gear.

I went out the day after I posted this. Perch action was fast and furious but the size wasn't there. Lots of 6" perch. Probably caught close to a hundred for the day, but only 10 worth keeping. Good ice thickness for the most part, did punch one hole that was only 13".
