So seems no one has a problem fishing the other casino tourneys and they were all involved with the protest. Things that make you go hmm.

Fort Berthold had nothing to do with that protest. In fact they never even made a statement regarding it. Why would they, they have many miles of pipeline on their reservation.

No doubt, Standing Rock wishes they had Fort Berthholds oil production! They're just pissed that they don't.
So they had a big hissy fit and sided with a bunch of hippies that had no dog in the fight.

There were Ft Berthhold members here....Enough to have a Tribal flag posted with all the others Tribal Flags from around the Nation.

But somehow you can see the disconnect between their Tribal members and the its Casino?????

funny isn’t how people like to see it when the truth is a whole different reality. Ft berthold and all the other reservations had people there.

That makes it hard for people to big talk when they are supporting what they say others shouldn’t.

The Fort Berthold tribe took no stance on it as a tribe. Whether there were a few individuals from the tribe there really doesn't matter. The Sioux called for the protesters.

The Three Affiliated Tribes sent a letter of support to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe on August 22, 2016. In the letter, TAT makes it clear that they believed that DAPL should find alternative methods of transporting oil that would not potentially impact the SRST negatively. TAT offered to continue logistical support and supplies to the SRST (that means TAT was paying some bills).

I knew the tribe up there came out (on the record) in support of SR, but they were always talking out of both sides of their mouths during the whole thing. But they were here....and in substantial numbers it seemed.

Ft Berthold did indeed come out against the pipeline route even though a majority of their oil is now flowing through it. They ended up being a bunch of hypocrites all to save face with the other tribes. The thing about Native American tribes is they all typically band together in issues whether they agree completely or not. Ever since they got screwed by the government their trust went out the window and the tribes are united in these feelings. I once contemplated going to concerts at four bears but after this stunt I will never step foot in there.

I did not know that. They must have kept that pretty hush hush. Thankfully I don't patronize that reservation in any way shape or form lol

I've wondered that myself after the big payout debacle. Yet right back in the fire they jumped.

Does someone have a link regarding their support because I have never seen nor heard that.

i agree with what your saying i just wanted to point out the fact that people are being hard asses and boycotting prairie knights and big talking when if they have any balls they should be doing the same with all the casinos. Its the outrage culture that i am tiring of most will say they are taking a stand till it affects them in a negative way.

Approximately 20% of the states oil production come from Fort Berthold. How do you come up with a majority of the oil flowing through DAPL is from Fort Berthold?

The thing about this rage is that it is based off of their small perception. Guys like eyexer have this strong opinion about something but are ignorant.

Yup. What short memories we have.

It is a safe bet those memories are based off of bullshit. Eyexer demonstrated that. Time to get over it and move on. I think the situation is much more complex than one perceives.

KFYR did a story. You should look it up. You might learn something. The Tribe's minutes from August 30, 2016 are also open to the public. Go ahead and look those up as well. Nothing was hush hush. You just have to pull your head out of your ass sometimes and not live in your bubble.
