The more I fish for bass the less I fish for walleye. Way more fun. Hey bite harder and fight way harder. The only time I fish for walleye is for table fare. If I have fish in the freezer I’ll be fishing for something other than walleye.

Tube jigs are indeed sm crack!!! Smallest weight you need to keep near bottom. Lift and pause, snap or just drag along the bottom and they just plain work. Zara spooks, pooches, puppies and Heddon Tiny Torpedos are awesome early and late in the day. The don't make them anymore but Rebel Wee-R in baby bass, crappie and crawfish were some of our best cranks, along with cotton cordel big O and Norman Little Ns. You have plenty of what you need, remember the bass you caught on the hair jig in my boat. I have piles of smallie tackle, when spring rolls around, let's take the boys out and smack a few.
