Hey there, I'm just curious do you guys use apps on your smartphones for fishing and what are they?
My list is very short, I mostly use these two great apps:
- AccuWeather https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/accuweather-weather-for-life/id300048137?mt=8 - for accurate weather predictions
- Spyglass https://itunes.apple.com/app/spyglass/id332639548?mt=8&at=11lLc7&ct=fs - the best gps app out there, I use it for navigation, marking fav fishing places, sharing my gps coordinates with pals)
Hope to make the list bigger with your help!

I got the Precision Trolling app a year ago. It is nice as a reference but there is still a huge art in getting your cranks to the right depth. It really depends on how good you are at tuning.

Navionics - have it but don't use it a lot. Rather use an actual gps
iSolunar - lunar calendar
Fishing Knots
Knots 3D
PRO Fishing - recording information
Fishidy - general info
Google Earth
iWindsurf - awesome wind forecasting app

Winchester Ballistics - great for bullet drop and drift

Fishidy and ArcGIS. The ndgf has a file with all their lake maps in it for the ArcGIS app. Not the easiest app to figure out but once you get it all the contour maps are automatically updated when the ndgf updates them. And its free.

That app is absolutely awesome. If I have some spare time I will sit and study/game plan. User interface isn't the greatest but I'll deal with it for the information it has.

-Navionic boating usa - works well if you don't have a hand held gps
-knot wars
-winchester ballistics
-iSolunar
-SL hunting for stand locations
-Precision trolling data
-google earth
-Weatherbug - but not happy with most weather apps
-ICD10 consult because you never, EVER can figure out what the hell medicare wants for diagnoses.

I have the following:
AccuWeather
Weather Bug
Trolling Depth Estimator
My Favorite - likely because I develop it
Lead Core Depth Calculator

In addition I have Casio PathFinder Best time for Fishing Lunar Watch
The watch shows you the best time of day to fish, and the best days in the month.
Displays 1 to 4 fish on the watch accordingly.
The real nice thing is you can look into future and it has a vibration alarm to alert you without being disruptive.
Of course it's based on the position of moon to earth so it's a bit of unproven science, but it's a cool watch.
Amazon sell for $200 plus but if search you should fine it under $50 which was original pricing.

Weather channel for fishing.

Strelok plus for ballistic app but someday won't need that when I get an applied ballistic kestrell.

Found one for bullet trajectory. I've checked it with other ballistic calculators and it's been right on. Shooting solutions free is what it is called
