I wonder how many people that pay access fees, send the land owner 1099's or if it is legal to do so.
I would be willing to bet if you sent a 1099 that you would not set foot on that property again.

they can give out a thousand tags wont make a difference if they dont let people hunt. Talking to people from around there its just all for show

Some good news hopefully, Wyoming may hand out more elk tags to hunters to help bring down elk numbers, now Wyoming needs to allow hunters access to these herds by negotiating with landowners who are receiving compensation from elk damages by a payment. No payments until hunters have some type of access to these herds.

It will just push the elk onto private land even faster. This will mainly affect unit 7 for elk. Bow season may even be overrun if the unit turns into a general unit. Bow season is the best time to fill your tag before every yahoo and their brother is out there beating down every trail or what they think is a trail with their off road vehicles. Gun hunters better get lucky day 1 or not fill your tag. Same as it is now in that area
