Fortunate to grow up with this rod and later "graduated" to ones which break. A 7ft one piece would be the ultimate for deep running cranks and rigs. Dad and son should have worn safety glasses in the vid. Holy eff:

It broke where he had his fighting harness hooked. Please redo the test with a bait caster version and harness properly hooked to the reel not the rod causing a fulcrum and making a fail point
