Things moved so fast after the late ice-out, and with water temps well above 70 degrees in the bays, I had a feeling the minnow bite was about over, but I wanted to see what I could catch them on. The flat calm conditions further forced my hand. Here's what it looks like when we run into summer fishing so early in the year.
